When you live in a country with (almost) 365 days of summer, you certainly wear less clothes but it doesn’t mean it’s easy to choose what to wear in the morning. Sure, you can wear everyday the same style of clothing, like a jeans’ short with white t-shirt and sandals (which is a good combo though) but after one week 1) you’ll be bored wearing the same things 2) you’ll come to a point that you miss a good autumn/winter weather just to wear a coat and 3) you’ll think that summer clothes don’t fit with trendy and different.
After 6 months in Mexico, I learned that summer style doesn’t mean doing layering (which is quite impossible with 30 degrees everyday) or wearing something really complicated but to search the unusual piece or accessorize that will make your look distinct.
Today I come to you with this marvellous blue kaftan from Dandelion, a brand from Playa del Carmen (you may know my obsession with local brands now haha). The owners are so lovely and so passionate of what they do that makes you want to get everything of their collection. It’s actually my first kaftan and I choose to accessorize it simply with some silver jewels and a pair of high-heels sandals. No need for more!
