The more days pass, the more I miss my little cold country in winter. I see pictures of beautiful Brussels with Christmas tree, lights and little markets with hot wine, foie gras and oysters and I just wish I was there. Even if summer is definitely my favourite season of the year, I can’t stop thinking of wearing a huge sweatshirt with a hot chocolate front of every 90’s Christmas movies than I can find.
Anyways, I’ll not complain about the weather here and the fact that I’ll pass Christmas time and the New Year Eve at the beach in bikini (which was one of my bucket list) but you know, I was just saying.
Today I share with you a throwback of a trip that we did to the North side of Belgium, Bruges and Blankenberge, were we stayed for a few days at the end of the summer. Bruges was cloudy the major part of the day but still so beautiful, with the canals, the old streets, Belgian food (French fries, strawberries-Nutella double portion of Chantilly waffles…) Yummy. I could talk about food for hours but that’s not the point right now. We end our trip in sunny Blankenberge, which is my favourite city at the coast. We spent the day watching the sea, drinking mojitos and enjoying the last hours of summer.
